Forest Green

This color blew up after showing up on the runway at Nicole Miller Fall 2015. It’s the perfect dark color if you’re not into black nails. It pairs well with almost any neutral and will give your nails a subtle pop of color! Try Butter London Nail Lacquer in Racing Green($15 at butterlondon.com) pictured above.

Dark French Tips

This trend is fun, customizable, and a super easy DIY! How to get the look: Pick a fall color (cobalt blue, beige, plum, or black, just to name a few) then lay a piece of tape across your nail bed, carefully positioning it so that only a small sliver of your nail is exposed. Paint the end of your nail, let dry, and carefully peel off the tape to reveal your perfect tips! Try it in OPI O Suzi Mio ($10 at ulta.com).

Fall Metallics

Last but not least, bring on the glitter! Fall doesn’t mean you have to tone down the shine. Metallics look great in neutrals or very dark colors and are simply eye-catching when paired with soft fabrics like wool. Essie’s new fall 2015 line is full of great tones, from warm browns to electric blue! Try in Good as Gold($8.50 at essie.com)
