Meat and Potatoes A Tasty Take on a Traditional Dish

Instead of eating the same thing every night, why not switch it up and enjoy your dinner? When I want to make something quick and easy that tastes great and doesn’t pack in the calories, I make my take on sausage and potatoes. It’s filling but actually pretty healthy for you. It makes use of flavorful turkey sausage and the small red potatoes only have 100 calories per serving. Plus, it’s not too heavy so it’s perfect for when it’s hot out. If you’re hungry but tired of your usual fare, then try this delicious and filling recipe.

Sausage and Potatoes(3 servings)

Ingredients:
Jennie-O Turkey Kielbasa
12 red potatoes
1 tomato
1/2 cup shredded Colby-jack cheese
1 tbsp rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Halve potatoes, chop tomato and cut kielbasa into half-inch circles then toss into a 13-inch roaster. Sprinkle with rosemary, salt, and pepper then pour water into the mixture. Top with cheese, place the lid on top, then cook in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Enjoy!
