Enjoy Your Stay Hotels With The Best Toiletries

One of the first things I do after entering a hotel room for the first time is make a bee-line for the bathroom to find out what brand of toiletries the hotel uses. It’s then that I decide whether I’ll use my own travel-size products by brands I trust or if I’ll take a leap and rely on the hotel’s options during my stay. If I absolutely love what the hotel has to offer, you better believe I’ll be bagging up those shampoos, conditioners, etc. to take them home. While not all hotels hit the mark with their brand selection, here’s a list of some hotels that put some thought into what they place on their counters.

W Hotels

W Hotels bathrooms are stocked with luxe Bliss Spa toiletries for all guests to enjoy. Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash, Lemon+Sage Soapy Suds, Lemon+Sage Body Butter, Lemon+Sage Supershine Shampoo, Lemon+Sage Conditioning Rinse, and a Lemon+Sage Body Bar($24, $18, $29, $18, $18, and $15 respectively at blissworld.com) all make up the “Bliss Sinkside Six-Pack.” Also, because W Hotels has a partnership with Bliss Spa, you’ll find a Bliss Spa facility at many of their locations.

The Peninsula Hotels

The exclusive Oscar de la Renta collection at Peninsula Hotels is made up of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and soap which are each bottled in a clear 50ml recyclable bottle featuring a dark blue cap in the shape of a rose. ODLR partnered with perfume producer Firmenich to create the “citrus aromatic floral musk” scent.

Four Seasons

Among the many high-end amenities offered at Four Seasons locations are L’Occitane bath products. At their Jackson Hole resort, you’ll not only find 2.5 oz bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash offering but a packet of fizzy bath salts as well, all in lemon-verbena. Lavender is the scent of choice in their San Francisco hotel.

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts

During a recent stay at their Santa Monica location, I was pleased to find that the products from Le Labo’s Rose 31 collection had a sweet, spicy scent. While their perfume of the same name runs at $180 for a 1.7 fl oz bottle, Fairmont guests can take home as many of the 1.4-ounce toiletries as they like(I took a few myself).

Hilton Hotels and Resorts

Since 2011 Hilton has provided guests with amenities by Peter Thomas Roth. Now, in more than 500 properties, guests will not only have the usual offering of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash, they’ll also be treated with the brand’s Moisture Infusion Facial Bar and Massage Body Bar. Each of these Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich products is vitamin packed and can be purchased on Hilton’s online store.

Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts

Jumeirah prides themselves on being one of the most luxurious hotel chains. Unlike most(if not all) other hotel chains, they don’t skimp on the toiletries and provide just travel size products. No, you’ll find 14 full-size his and hers Hermès products when staying with them at their Burj Al Arab location, named the most luxurious hotel in the world.
